In today's IT world, cross-functional teams are expected to quickly deliver business value with the right quality. TMAP® supports this new way of working on “built-in quality” that goes beyond testing only.

Organizing QA & testing requires orchestrating, planning, preparing and managing the activities. This training trains professionals who are responsible for this to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills so that they can enable teams to “take ownership of quality”.

This training is based on the book “Quality for DevOps teams” and the TMAP® body-of-knowledge on tmap.net. 

What will you learn?

During this training you (who are involved in organizing, structuring and scaling the IT delivery process) will gain knowledge of and practical experience with, among others, the following QA & test topics:

• IT delivery models (incl. DevOps, Scrum and SAFe®)
• The VOICE model for realizing business value through IT delivery
• CI / CD arrow and tooling
• QA and test topics, such as:
  • quality & testing policy
  • monitoring & control
  • findings management
  • reporting & “alerting”
  • budget & planning
  • metrics and continuous improvement
  • infrastructure
• Organizing team-transcending quality engineering
• Chain tests within a team or across multiple teams
• Quality attributes and test varieties
• Personal, interpersonal and team skills for effective collaboration within and between teams

What are you going to do?

This training allows you to gain experience with these topics through short introductions followed by relevant exercises and leaves plenty of room for sharing experiences between the participants.

Who is this training suitable for?

This training is for all people involved in organizing high-performance IT delivery (such as DevOps and Scrum). This includes roles such as scrum masters, agile coaches, release train engineers, test managers, test masters.

Other relevant roles include QA professionals, testers, business analysts, product owners, developers, quality engineers, users, administrators, etc.

What prior knowledge do you need?

This training requires basic knowledge about information technology, working in teams and an Agile way of working. No specific certifications are required, but we strongly recommend that you first obtain the certificate “TMAP: Quality for cross-functional teams”.

Can you take the exam?

The exam “TMAP®: Organizing built-in quality at scale” contains 40 questions and lasts 1.5 hours. The exam of €235.00 is part of the course price. Any discount does not apply t exam costs. If you want to order a re-exam, you can do so here.
