Test automation is becoming increasingly important. Tosca is a software testing tool used for automating end-to-end testing for software applications. The Tosca Test Suite has a user-friendly scanning and object recognition function. This makes it possible to easily create reusable modules, which can be used as building blocks for setting up tests.

This training provides insight into how test cases can be made data-driven, so that Tosca can be used more efficiently. It also helps with the “shift left” mindset by learning how to test APIs.

What are you going to learn?

In this training you take a second step to become specialized in the use of Tosca. The emphasis is on building a test case efficiently using Test Case Templates that utilize Test Case Design. In addition, you will gain insight into how you can test APIs via Tricentis.

During this training, theory and assignments around an interesting practical case alternate. The focus is on creating test scenarios for a simulated HTML webshop. This will give you a good introduction to what is possible with Tosca.

Can you take the exam?

The training is concluded with the exam Tricentis Tosca Fundamentals − Optimizing test automation with centralized test data . The  exam consists of 30 multiple choice questions and lasts 60 minutes.
