Test automation is becoming increasingly important. Tosca is a software testing tool used for automating end-to-end testing for software applications. The Tosca Test Suite has a user-friendly scanning and object recognition function. This makes it possible to easily create reusable modules, which can be used as building blocks for setting up tests.
With this training you will get a quick introduction to automated testing with Tosca.
What are you going to learn?
In this training you will learn the basics of Tosca, with a focus on creating modules, creating Test Cases, and running these Test Cases via Execution.
The following topics are covered, among others:
Control recognition (anchor points, objects and modules);
Structuring a test case;
Add TestSteps and TestStepValues;
Dealing with dynamic values;
Create and use Libraries & TestSTepBlocks;
What are you going to do?
During this training, theory and assignments around an interesting practical case alternate. The focus is on creating test scenarios for a simulated HTML webshop. This will give you a good introduction to what is possible with Tosca. At the end of the training you can run 5 fully automated GUI test cases that you have created during the training.

The training is concluded with the Tricentis Tosca Fundamentals − Automating web application testing exam . The exam consists of 30 multiple choice questions and lasts 60 minutes.
