ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst

Many organizations operate in an international environment, in which good communication is extra important. An unambiguous conceptual framework within a test project is a precondition for this. The International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB®) provides this conceptual framework in the field of testing and shows you the what and why of structured testing. ISTQB® is recognized worldwide.

This training will be giving you insight into how structured Test Analysis is done within ISTQB® frameworks.

What will you learn?

During the ISTQB® Advanced Test Analyst training, you will be introduced to the globally recognized framework of ISTQB®. You will be taught various techniques to design tests and you will gain insight into findings management.

During this training the following topics will be covered:

• Testing process
• Test management from the perspective of the Test Analyst
• Specification based test techniques: Equivalence partitioning, Boundary value analysis, Decision table, Cause effect Graphing State transition, Combinatorial testing techniques, Domain analysis and Use case and User story testing
• Defect and experience-based test techniques
• Testing of software characteristics
• Defect management
• Preparation for the exam by means of sample exam questions for each learning objective and a sample exam

What are you going to do?

During the training we will switch between presentations, exercises, game elements, competitions and individual puzzles. In this way you master the design of tests according to ISTQB® Advanced in an interactive and interesting way.

What prior knowledge do you need?
