TMAP®: Organizing built-in quality at scale
In today’s IT world cross-functional teams are expected to deliver business value with the right quality at speed. TMAP® supports this new way of working towards built-in quality which goes beyond just testing.
This training course provides all people in a high-performance IT delivery team, such as a DevOps or Scrum team, with the required knowledge and skills that are important for building quality in their IT system and gaining confidence that the pursued business value can be achieved.

Course outline
During this training course the participants (that typically are involved in organizing, structuring and scaling the IT delivery process) will get knowledge and practical experience with the following QA & testing subjects (amongst others):
- IT delivery models (incl DevOps, Scrum and SAFe®)
- The VOICE model for achieving business value by IT delivery
- CI/CD pipeline and tooling
- QA & Testing topics, such as:
- quality & test policy
- monitoring & control
- anomaly management
- reporting & alerting
- estimating & planning
- metrics and continuous improvement
- infrastructure
- Organizing quality engineering overarching multiple teams
- End-to-end testing within a team or over multiple teams
- Quality characteristics and test varieties
- Personal, interpersonal and team skills for effective collaboration within and across teams.
Structure of the training course
The training course lets participants get experience on these subjects through short introductions followed by relevant exercises and leaves ample room for sharing experiences by all participants. During the course the participants will also practice exam questions.
Target audience
This training course is for all people that are involved in organizing high-performance IT delivery (such as DevOps and Scrum). This includes roles such as scrum masters, agile coaches, release train engineers, test managers, test masters.
Other relevant roles include QA professionals, testers, business analysts, product owners, developers, quality engineers, users, operations people etc.
Required advance knowledge
For this training course basic knowledge of information technology, working in teams and an Agile way of working is required. There are no specific certifications required but we strongly advise to first get the certificate “TMAP: Quality for cross-functional teams”.
Exam
This training course prepares for the exam “TMAP: Organizing built-in quality at scale”.
This is a 1,5 hour exam with 40 questions.
