Tosca in practice

Test automation is becoming increasingly important. Tosca is a software testing tool used for automating end-to-end testing for software applications. The Tosca Test Suite has a user-friendly scanning and object recognition function. This makes it possible to easily create reusable modules, which can be used as building blocks for setting up tests.

During the training, the focus is on solving errors within the scripts.

This practical training provides you with tools to solve problems that you are likely to encounter in practice. While the Tosca Testing Fundamentals trainings mainly focus on the information needed to pass the exam and thus show how automation works in an ideal world, this training shows you what happens if, for example, a new version of an application becomes available.

What will you learn?

What are you going to do?

In this training, common “error messages” are discussed. It is, as it were, an imitation of a version change of the system under test, as a result of which test scripts that previously worked no longer work. In addition, we are already taking a step towards TestCaseDesign, because of course we do not want to copy a test case every time. Questions that will be addressed include:

• How do you deal with scripts that no longer work?
• What should you pay attention to?
• How do you organize Tosca efficiently?

This training is intended for (technical) Test Engineers, Test Coordinators, Test Managers and other officials who want to learn more about the execution of test specification and automation using the Tosca Test Suite ^TM .
