In today's IT world, organizations are increasingly working with external partners, to whom some of the work is outsourced. In addition, more and more organizations are working in Agile-like environments in which mutual collaboration in the software lifecycle is essential. In this type of environment, orchestration of E2E quality is becoming increasingly important. Sogeti has developed “best practices” regarding the management of E2E quality. The focus here is on quality control when implementing changes in the chain of applications.
The training is divided into two half-day modules: E2E Quality Orchestration and Contract Testing.
Contract testing is a technique for testing an interface by checking each application individually to ensure that the messages sent or received conform to a shared view captured in a contract.
What will you learn?
Upon completion of the training, participants will have achieved the following objectives:
After completing the E2E Quality Orchestration module, you will understand how to integrate E2E Quality Orchestration, including the organization of the E2E Test, organizationally and operationally. You can also explain the benefits this brings and have a concrete roadmap for this integration.
After completing the Contract Testing module, you will understand the benefits of Contract Testing and how to apply it within the desired testing strategy. You will also be able to explain the benefits it brings and be able to explain and apply the different types of Contract Testing.
What will you do?
The E2E Quality Orchestration training is a basic interactive training that will dwell on why the orchestrator role is important and what the primary areas of focus are to perform a successful E2E test.
The Contract Testing module discusses the integration of Contract Testing within the E2E process.
Who is this training suitable for?
This training is suitable for anyone who is involved in the organization and execution of E2E Test or has a role in getting a grip on E2E quality. Relevant roles include E2E Quality Orchestrator, test engineer, product owner, business owner, system architect, Release Train Engineer, etc.
What prior knowledge do you need?
Basic knowledge of Agile is required for this training. In addition, knowledge of testing or E2E testing is required. No specific certifications are required.
